Happy Birthday (A joke … but real story)

Top management of my office will come each floor to say hello and Merry Christmas to us every year the day before Christmas. They will have a little chat with every staff, saying “Merry Christmas” and shake hands with us.

One year, when our Commissioner came to us and shaked hands with us again, of course we could hear a lot of “Merry Christmas” in the office but suddenly when she came to a very funny 50-something lady (with smiling face always) and said “Merry Christmas”, the lady replied “Happy Birthday!” without knowing herself having said the wrong greetings! We had a 2-second dead air moment and then found ourselves very hard to hold our laughs …

Years after years, we came to this lady the day before Christmas and said “Happy Birthday!” and she loved that.
