Three Games without a Goal

Football commentators will always like to comment the ability of a striker to score a goal by counting how long or how many games a striker is not able to score a goal. If a striker is, say, consecutively 5 games without a goal or 450 minutes without a goal, he is described as having scoring problems.

I’ve not played football for quite a long time. But I’m having a similar problem of 3 consecutive recording sessions without a good take! I’ve been trying for a total of over 330 minutes in the studio and can’t even produce a good take for a word! Am I having singing problems? What’s happening to me?

When I went back home last night, I’m so depressed … just like a goalless striker returning back to the changing room …

Oh, sorry to hear that, Ivor. I pray for you. Things will work out finally. =)

I fully understand that there're lots of physical and psychological adjustments and struggles in the recording sessions, esp. when time's running out.
Don't worry, you'll make it coz it's an ongoing lesson we've to learn in the ministry.
With the existence of different constraints, the end result will be ok although it may not be "perfect".
Add oil!

Ivor, sorry to hear that. I understand how it feels and how frustrating it is. I know nothing about singing. I can just wish you well and hope things will be fine.

Are you satisfied with your recording now?

Thanks Carrie, Florence and Ruth.
My next recording session will be scheduled next Tuesday night. I won't give up and will try the best as I can.

Just postponed to next week.
Hopefully we can do it!
